Built for XAUUSD desks

Your journal should write itself.

Send the screenshot you already take. Profits Diary reads the ticket, files the trade, and keeps the stats that tell you which setups actually pay.

Three moves, then never again

Logging takes eleven seconds.

Most journals fail because they ask you to fill a form after a loss. Profits Diary asks for nothing you weren't already doing.

Step 01
FORWARD

Send the ticket

Screenshot from MT5, a photo of your terminal, or one line of text. Album of three partials? That's one trade, compounded.

Step 02
READ

Claude reads it

Instrument, direction, entry, exit, stop, size, P&L, R multiple, session. Your caption wins over the image whenever the two disagree.

Step 03
FILE

It lands everywhere

Saved to your journal, tagged to your account, and on the dashboard before you've closed the terminal.

What you get to look at

Stats that survive contact with a real account.

Every panel answers a question you'd otherwise argue with yourself about.

Questions

Before you connect an account.

Do you need my MT5 password?

No. Free and Pro read nothing from your broker — you send screenshots or text. Elite's auto-sync uses an MT5 investor (read-only) password, which cannot place or close trades. You can revoke it in your terminal at any time.

What happens when Claude misreads a screenshot?

Every field is editable, and your written caption always overrides the image. If your caption says the exit was 3327.80, that is the exit — the screenshot only fills the gaps. Wrong entry? Reply /undo and send it again.

Where is my data stored?

In Profits Diary's own database — your trades and account settings in Postgres, chart screenshots in object storage, never a public link. Export everything to CSV whenever you want it.

Does it work for instruments other than gold?

Yes — FX pairs, indices, and crypto are all recognised. The news and pre-market briefs are gold and USD focused, because that is what the desk was built around.

Can my prop firm see this?

Only if you share it. Desk plans add read-only reviewer links so a funded-account manager can see stats without touching your journal.

Is there a discount for annual billing?

Two months free on every paid plan. Switching mid-cycle prorates automatically.
